The project is Urban and belongs to the Technical Projects. Reconstruction of the core of Kato Polemidia. As part of the project are new coatings on roads and sidewalks, new parking, parks, landscaping, etc.
Project objective is to upgrade and maintain the traditional story of the settlement Kato Polemidia, who has largely retained its traditional structure.
Also upgrade the quality of life for residents by creating an attractive and friendly environment for local people, visitors and investment projects by private developers.
The project includes the following specific tasks:
1. Flooring coats roads and sidewalks with granite stones of various colors and sizes.
2. Construction of sidewalks / pedestrian traffic areas.
3. Proper installation of the necessary urban equipment (lighting, seating, benches, waste baskets).
4. Enrichment of green area and landscaping green spaces.
5. Traffic arrangements to make the area friendly to pedestrians and people with disabilities.
6. Construction of all necessary infrastructures.
7. All underground utilities. In addition are new Electrical Works for the lighting of streets, sidewalks and squares.
8. The drainage network of rainwater will be completed thus protecting the community from potential flooding.
